The process of resetting your password works the same for GuavaHR web version as well as the smartphone app.
First, you have to be logged out. Then, you need to proceed to the page where you usually log in. In web version, this can be found athttps://app.guavahr.com/login, in the app, it's on the home page when you open it.
On that page, press "I forgot my password".
Next, you'll see a new window open up, and you need to enter your email address.
After you've pressed the button "Send password reset instructions", you should receive the following email. Press the button "Reset password".
PS! If you do not receive such letter, check you junk mail first. If the letter is not there, too, make sure you have used the correct email to reset your password. To do that, ask our customer success for help or check your email with your HR manager.
Now you can choose a new password for yourself. Enter your email first and then, enter your new password twice. To confirm, press "Reset password". Now, you may log in with your new password.
How to recover a forgotten password via SMS?
If a user who has been added to the workspace with a phone number has forgotten their password and wants to reset it, they will receive an SMS with a link to their phone. After going to the link, they must enter their mobile number (area code is not required) and a new password.
